The potter Penelope, after many quests and much of thought, carried her workshop and ceramics exhibition to the beautiful castle of Mesta, place of her origin. In her handmade ceramics she puts all her love, imagination and is constantly experimenting. It is located in a very beautiful place at the central square of Mesta, since 2006. Penelope is waiting to welcome you at her lovely ceramic art shop.
Balatsos ceramics art studio
Creations inspired by nature and the beautiful environment in which he have been living for the recent years on Chios island. All ceramics, large and small, are handmade, unique pieces created one by one. The colors of Nikos' creations take you to another era, in complete harmony with the place where his workshop is located. These colors are made with its own recipies from mineral salts and silver-nitrate. Feel free to enter the studio at the entrance of the village just to enjoy the creations and Nikos warm welcome.
