Didyma is located on the road from Limenas Meston to Elata, about 5 Km. from Mesta. It consists of two beaches that look very much alike with small white pebbles and green-blue crystal waters.
Merikounta Beach

Merikounta is located at the SW part of the island, near Mesta village. It is a beautiful beach with thick sand and very small pebbles that spreads out to become one with the deep, crystal waters. North winds search the bay and therefore it’s better not to visit the beach when north winds set in. The name derives from the ancient Greek word "Myrikin" that means Myrica, a bush common to places near the seashore.
