Amista Cafe, not seen at first glance, is just a short walk before the entrance to the medieval castle of Mesta, opposite the old Monastery of Panagia, where the church is located. Beautiful and warm ground floor coffee, a traditional house, made of stone and wood, the large fireplace is dominating the place, where you can enjoy your coffee by listening to lounge music.Amista combines traditional stone and high-rise wooden roof with modern yet warm décor, inviting you to taste the wide variety of beverages such as chocolate, tea, coffee, as well as spirits and cocktails. In the summer you can enjoy Soft ice cream, cool salads, various small snacks as well as club sandwiches with fresh french fries.

The friendly, gracious owners may well persuade you to munch on some of their smaller catches, such as sardines sarved with onions and pita, or smelt pie, accompanied by calamari and cheese balls. Meats served include, traditional sausage, lamp or beef on the spit, grilled chicken and meat balls. You can also taste our local specialties such as grilled "mastello" cheese.
Sit outside among the ivy and blossoms, where Mesta port unfolds before you, and enjoy our pasta with lobster or any other dish of our specialties from traditional Mediteranean or Chian cusine.
